Calligraphy workshop
19 April. Try Japanese calligraphy.
The exhibition Mellanrum presents Japanese calligraphy on paper, textile, wood and metal, focusing on Japanese aesthetic concepts that express different forms of spaces and transitions.
In addition to the exhibition, visitors can try Japanese calligraphy in a number of workshops (pre‑registration required). Participants are invited to experience the beauty of the “in‑between space” (mellanrummet) and perhaps reflect on nature as our greatest teacher in understanding its significance.
Time: 19 April, 3:00 pm–4:30 pm. The workshop is held during Hanami.
Location: Floras Rike, Visitor Centre.
Free of charge. Registration is made on site. Limited number of places.
The workshop is also offered for a fee on 2 May and 9 May.
