Guided tours
Discover Gothenburg Botanical Garden together with our knowledgeable guides. Throughout the year, we offer both scheduled public tours and, when possible, guided visits for private groups.
Guided Tours in the Garden
Our programme includes several different tours suitable for individual visitors. These tours generally cost SEK 100 per person and are booked through our Visitor Centre.

Guided Tour for a Special Group?
We are happy to guide special-interest groups in the garden whenever possible. If we are unable to guide you ourselves, we may engage carefully selected external guides. Please send your request well in advance using the form below, and we will get in touch with you.
We accommodate a maximum of 30 participants per guided tour and offer the following options:
20-minute Introduction at the Entrance
A short introduction to the garden, our collections and suggested areas to explore on your own. Ideal for groups who prefer to discover the garden at their own pace.
90 minutes – Around the Garden
A longer guided walk through several parts of the garden. We present our collections and the plantings we visit. Please note that the greenhouses are currently closed for refurbishment, and the arboretum is not included in this tour.
Specialised Tours
Does your group have a particular area of interest? Please indicate this in your booking request and we will investigate whether it can be arranged.
Prices 2026
Weekdays between 08:00–18:00 (evenings and weekends by quotation).
- 90-minute garden tour: SEK 3,700 excluding VAT
- 20-minute introduction: SEK 1,300 excluding VAT
- Specialised tours: SEK 3,700 per hour excluding VAT
Food and Drinks During Your Visit
Gothenburg Botanical Garden does not operate its own restaurant or café. For all enquiries regarding food and beverages in connection with your visit, please contact Restaurang Botaniska Paviljongen, located in the central part of the garden.
