Fungi from the forest
September 3 - 7. Open 10 am - 7 pm.
The annual fungi exhibition in Botaniska always attracts a large and curious public. The increasing interest among young people for picking mushrooms makes it extra enjoyable for us to share the knowledge we have in Botaniska about which mushrooms are edible and which are not, which taste good and which do not, and what one can do with one’s harvest from the forest.
Don’t miss the opportunity to meet our fungi experts. And above all, don’t miss the chance to see, touch and smell real fungi. It is the absolutely best way to acquire more knowledge about which you can eat and not.
Fungi experts Magnus Neuendorf and Robert Daun will be answering questions from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Old Barn on 3 - 7 September. The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with free entrance.
Fungi identification: every Monday, 17 August – 5 October. Greenhouse entrance.
Fungal staining: learn from Ann Bernhardtz-Heimer on 6 September, 12 noon – 4 p.m.
