Garden & Greenhouses
The area in total is 175 hectares (ca 430 acres), of which most constitutes a nature reserve including the arboretum. The garden proper is about 40 hectars and here grow something like 12,000 different species and cultivars in various parts of it.
In the Greenhouses you will find about 4,000 various species and cultivars, including some 1,500 orchids, a remarkable travertine department and the rare Eastern Island Tree.

Gothenburg's Botanical Garden is one of the largest in Europe. The total area is 175 hectares (about. 432 acres).
In the Greenhouses there are more than 4,000 species in an area of 1,500 m2. One is the Eastern Island Tree.
