Many of the trees in the Nature Reserve belong to Botaniska’s tree collection or Arboretum. They are gathered into copses according to geographical and scientific principles, and all are clearly signposted. The Nature Reserve abounds in wildlife such as hares, foxes, deer and elk.
Some species and provenances are of a great horticultural interest and may play a role in a future improvement of public plantations in southern Sweden.
Most of them have been brought to the garden by its own staff and are of known, wild origin.
